Vibe Coding Online edX Course Instructor

Role

DavidsonX seeks an instructor to design, develop, and deliver a 4-week online course titled “Vibe Coding: Building Apps & Websites with No Code.” The instructor will create course materials that teach AI-driven no-code development of websites and apps and will collaborate with the DavidsonX course development team throughout production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive course syllabus, learning objectives, and detailed scripts
• Collaborate weekly with the DavidsonX course development team via Zoom
• Adhere to project timelines and the development schedule
• Participate in a single live course filming day on the Davidson College campus

Requirements

• Expert-level Vibe Coding proficiency with tools such as Lovable, Replit, or similar
• Exceptional passion for teaching and demonstrated instructional ability
• Strong on-camera presence and teleprompter reading skills
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools: Google Suite, Slack, Zoom
• Availability for 50 remote work hours (flexed schedule) in the September–November window
• Ability to travel to Davidson, NC for a single filming day (travel costs fully reimbursed)

Schedule & Time Commitment

• Project start date: Late 2025
• Course filming dates: Early to mid 2026
• Time commitment: 50 hours total

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation provided as a contractor fee, commensurate with experience and mutually agreed upon prior to project start; payment issued upon successful completion of deliverables
• Travel costs for the filming day will be fully reimbursed

Collaboration & Development Approach

The selected instructor will work closely with the DavidsonX team to refine course content and structure, participating in weekly remote meetings and following the established production timeline.
