prior art, current approaches, and authoritative references for the decision space. Gated flows only.
**Sub-agent fan-out:** **allowed** — depth 1, ≤ 3 sub-workers split by analysis dimension (intent/fit, scope/risk,
alternatives); the analyst synthesizes. Single-dimension questions never fan out.
**Strict checklist / output contract:** apply the `architect` persona's decision discipline plus:
- Every option carries a concrete, decision-driving trade-off — never "option A is interesting".
- A single recommendation is made, not a neutral survey; the reasoning is traceable.
- Irreversible decisions flagged for an ADR; assumptions stated explicitly.
- Claims grounded in cited current sources where currency matters.
**Output format:** findings block — dimensions analyzed + recommendation + trade-offs; `Sources consulted:` when research ran.
