An MCP server that lets compatible agents search and inspect x402 paid services from the agent-tools.cloud directory and related x402 sources. It exposes tools to search services, fetch service details, browse categories, and view directory stats.

Prerequisites

Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):

Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):

- `AGENT_TOOLS_API_BASE`: Base URL for the agent-tools API; set this to point to a different deployment such as a self-hosted instance. (example: `<your-agent-tools-api-base>`)
- `AGENT_TOOLS_LOG_LEVEL`: Server log level written to stderr. (example: `<your-log-level>`)
- `AGENT_TOOLS_HTTP_LOG_LEVEL`: httpx/httpcore log level. (example: `<your-http-log-level>`)
Note: README also documents a remote MCP endpoint at https://agent-tools.cloud/mcp-discovery/ using Streamable HTTP with Accept: application/json, text/event-stream, but the simplest portable install path is the stdio uvx launch.
