An MCP app that lets a host open and inspect local audio files with an in-conversation UI. It displays playback controls, waveform, spectrogram, metadata, loudness metrics, and selected region/playhead state back to the model.
From the registry: Inspect local audio files — playback, metadata, loudness, spectrogram.

Please install the `audio-file-mcp-app` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Optional prerequisites:
- Node.js runtime — Install Node.js so the server can be launched via npx. Claude Desktop bundles Node, but other MCP hosts generally require Node.js to be installed separately. (https://nodejs.org/}],)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","@counterpoint-studio/audio-file-mcp-app"]
Note: The README states all install paths use the same stdio command: `npx -y @counterpoint-studio/audio-file-mcp-app`. No environment variables are documented. The `.mcpb` release is a Claude Desktop convenience installer, but the canonical portable config is the npx command.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.AI orchestration with hive-mind swarms, neural networks, and 87 MCP tools for enterprise dev.
