An MCP server that exposes PowForge's captcha service as three tools: request a proof-of-work challenge, verify a solved nonce for a short-lived access token, and check service status. It supports stdio by default and optional HTTP transport for MCP clients.
From the registry: Charge AI agents per-call without accounts. PoW solve = free tier, Lightning = paid tier.
Please install the `captcha-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Optional prerequisites:
- Node.js and npx — Install Node.js so you can run the package with npx. (https://nodejs.org/'}],)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","@powforge/captcha-mcp"]
- optional environment variables:
- `CAPTCHA_URL`: URL of the captcha backend service. Default is <http://localhost:3077> for local development; use <https://captcha.powforge.dev> for production or another backend URL. (example: `<your-captcha-url>`)
Note: Default transport is stdio with no configuration or API key required. The README also documents an HTTP mode using the same package with --http or HTTP_MODE=1 and optional PORT, but stdio is the default and preferred canonical install path.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.CAPTCHA_URLSets the captcha backend URL; defaults to the local development service at http://localhost:3077 or can point to the production service.HTTP_MODEEnables HTTP transport instead of stdio when set to 1.PORTPort to listen on when running in HTTP mode.Meta Ads MCP (Facebook + Instagram) - analyze performance, manage budgets, pause campaigns.
