Install & configure
Prerequisites
- requiredBuild Cortex DSR libraryBuild and install the Cortex DSR C++ library inside the project's virtualenv before running the server.

Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Build Cortex DSR library** — Build and install the Cortex DSR C++ library inside the project's virtualenv before running the server. Run: `cd ${CORTEX_DIR} && mkdir -p build && cd build && cmake .. && make -j$(nproc) && sudo make install` (https://github.com/grupo-avispa/cortex)
- **Clone and sync the repo** — Clone the dsr_mcp_server repo and install with uv. Run: `git clone https://github.com/grupo-avispa/dsr_mcp_server.git && cd dsr_mcp_server && uv sync` (https://github.com/grupo-avispa/dsr_mcp_server)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):

- optional environment variables:
- `DSR_AGENT_ID`: Unique agent identifier for DSR connection (default 42). (example: `42`)
- `DSR_NAME`: Target DSR graph name (default mcp_server). (example: `<your-dsr-graph-name>`)
- `SERVER_HOST`: Server host address (default 127.0.0.1). (example: `127.0.0.1`)
- `SERVER_PORT`: Server port (default 3000). (example: `3000`)
