Install & configure

Prerequisites

Install Python 3.10+
Python 3.10 or newer is required to run the server.

Install the MCP server from PyPI.

Create an EPWForge API key
Generate an API key from your EPWForge account. A key is required for the server to authenticate to the EPWForge API.

Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install Python 3.10+** — Python 3.10 or newer is required to run the server.
- **Install the epwforge-mcp package** — Install the MCP server from PyPI. Run: `pip install epwforge-mcp`
- **Create an EPWForge API key** — Generate an API key from your EPWForge account. A key is required for the server to authenticate to the EPWForge API. (https://epwforge.com/account)

Note: The README also mentions a hosted MCP mirror at https://epwforge.com/api/mcp, but it does not provide client configuration details for using that endpoint directly. The documented local install path is the stdio server via the epwforge-mcp command.

Render an inline SVG bar chart of cooling, heating, and dewpoint deltas from scenario comparisons.
