This MCP server connects EZ@Work to MCP-compatible AI clients and exposes tools for listing clients and projects, logging time entries, and creating draft invoices. It supports OAuth or API-token authentication over a Streamable HTTP `/mcp` endpoint.
From the registry: Manage clients, projects, time, and invoices in EZ@Work — business management for freelancers.
Please install the `ezatwork` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Create an EZ@Work account** — Sign up for an EZ@Work account before connecting in API token mode. (https://app.ezatwork.com/)
- **Generate an EZ@Work API token** — Create an API token in EZ@Work settings. This token is required for non-OAuth clients that connect with an Authorization header. (https://app.ezatwork.com/settings/api-tokens)
Canonical MCP server config (HTTP transport):
- url: `https://mcp.ezatwork.com/mcp`
- headers:
- `Authorization`: `Bearer <your-ezatwork-api-token>`
Note: Preferred portable setup is the hosted Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. For Claude Desktop/Claude.ai, the README also supports OAuth against the same URL with automatic authentication; in that mode, no manual Authorization header is needed. Local development server runs at <your-local-mcp-url> (README example: localhost on port 8080) but is a development path, not the preferred install route.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.GOOGLE_CLIENT_IDrequiredOAuth client ID used when enabling Google-based OAuth authenticationGOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRETrequiredOAuth client secret used when enabling Google-based OAuth authenticationMCP_BASE_URLrequiredBase URL for the MCP server used for OAuth authentication setupEZ_MCP_MASTER_TOKENrequiredMaster token secret used for token-based authentication in deploymentAtlassian Rovo MCP Server
