MCP server that provides access to international education statistics from UNESCO UIS and OECD Education at a Glance. It supports indicator search, country comparisons, country education profiles, and SDG-4 monitoring through a single MCP interface without requiring API keys.

Please install the `global-education-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install Python 3.11+** — Python 3.11 or newer is required to run the server. (https://www.python.org/downloads/)
- **Install uv** — Install Astral's uv tool to run the server via uvx, which is the simplest recommended path. (https://docs.astral.sh/uv/)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `uvx`
- args: ["global-education-mcp"]
Note: The README also documents SSE/cloud deployment, but the simplest portable MCP client configuration is stdio via `uvx global-education-mcp`. No API keys are required. For cloud/SSE deployment, the server uses environment variables such as `MCP_TRANSPORT=sse`, `MCP_HOST=<your-host>`, and `PORT=<your-port>`, typically behind a reverse proxy with TLS and authentication.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.MCP_TRANSPORTrequiredSelects the transport mode, such as SSE for cloud deploymentMCP_HOSTrequiredSets the host address for the MCP server, used for SSE deploymentPORTrequiredPort used by the web/SSE server in cloud deploymentMCP server for Gearsystem Sega Master System / Game Gear / SG-1000 emulator
