This MCP server allows AI assistants to manage the Google Play Store release lifecycle, including uploading artifacts and managing testers and rollouts.
From the registry: Google Play release lifecycle: tracks, testers, rollout, and Android Vitals.
Please install the `google-play-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Google Cloud service account** — Create a service account and download the JSON key (https://console.cloud.google.com/iam-admin/serviceaccounts)
- **Enable Google Play APIs** — Enable Google Play Android Developer API and Google Play Developer Reporting API (https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/library/androidpublisher.googleapis.com)
- **Grant Play Console permissions** — In Play Console → Setup → API access, link the service account and grant per-app permissions (https://play.google.com/console)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `uvx`
- args: ["google-play-mcp"]
- required environment variables:
- `GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS`: Absolute path to the service account JSON key (example: `<your-credentials-path>/service-account.json`)
Note: Also available via `pip install google-play-mcp` and supports HTTP transport via `--transport http --port <port>`.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALSrequiredPath to the service account JSON keyReal-time infrastructure monitoring with metrics, logs, alerts, and ML-based anomaly detection.
