- **Groups.io API key** — Obtain a Groups.io API key (https://groups.io/settings/apikeys)
- **Clone repo** — Clone and install dependencies Run: `git clone https://github.com/ke4qqq/groupsio-mcp-server.git && cd groupsio-mcp-server && npm install`
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):

- args: ["/path/to/groupsio-mcp-server/index.js"]
- required environment variables:
- `GROUPSIO_API_KEY`: Groups.io API key (example: `<your-groupsio-api-key>`)
Note: No npm package; install from source via git clone.
