Install & configure
Prerequisites
- requiredClone and installClone the repo and install dependencies
$ git clone https://github.com/ExpertVagabond/guardrails-mcp-server.git && cd guardrails-mcp-server && npm install
Install in your client
Paste into the AI you're chatting with — it will figure out the rest
Please install the `guardrails` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).

Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):

Note: No npm package; install from source.
