Please install the `hedera-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install Node.js and npm** — Node.js and npm are required to run the server via npx. (https://nodejs.org/)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):

- optional environment variables:
- `HEDERA_NETWORK`: Hedera network to target. Supported values: mainnet, testnet, previewnet. Defaults to testnet. (example: `<mainnet|testnet|previewnet>`)
- `HEDERA_OPERATOR_ID`: Optional default payer/treasury Hedera account ID used when building transactions. This is an account ID only, not a private key. (example: `<your-hedera-account-id>`)
- `HEDERA_MIRROR_URL`: Optional override for the Mirror Node REST API base URL instead of the per-network default. (example: `<your-mirror-node-url>`)
Note: The server is build-only: reads use public Mirror Node REST APIs, and write tools return unsigned frozen transactions for you to sign and submit separately. No private key is configured for normal MCP usage.
