Hosted MCP server for Indian-language normalization and validation. It transliterates text across Indic scripts and Latin, detects script, normalizes Indian names and addresses, decodes PIN codes, and validates/extracts data from PAN and GSTIN numbers.
From the registry: Indic transliteration plus Indian name, address, PIN, PAN, GSTIN normalization.
Please install the `indic-normalize-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install Node.js and npm** — Required to run the MCP launcher via npx. (https://nodejs.org/)
Optional prerequisites:
- Get an API key — Recommended for authenticated access and paid tiers. The hosted server also allows anonymous free-tier usage up to 100 calls/month/IP, but the documented launcher path uses a Bearer token. (https://indic-normalize-mcp.atlasword.workers.dev/upgrade?tier=solo)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","@insnapsprakhar/indic-normalize-mcp"]
Note: The README also documents a direct stdio launcher via mcp-remote: command `npx` with args `['-y','mcp-remote','https://indic-normalize-mcp.atlasword.workers.dev/mcp','--header','Authorization: Bearer <your-api-key>']`. The npm package path is the simplest portable option and is preferred. The underlying hosted MCP endpoint is `https://indic-normalize-mcp.atlasword.workers.dev/mcp` using HTTP POST with Bearer auth. Anonymous free-tier access is available, but some tools require paid tiers.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.Trending hip-hop artist momentum scores across four cultural dimensions.
