MCP server for the Inistate platform that lets clients discover workspaces and modules, read module schemas and entries, and submit or manage activities. It also supports file upload/download and module design/validation workflows.
From the registry: MCP server for the Inistate platform: module discovery, entry management, and activity submission.
Please install the `inistate-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Obtain an Inistate API token** — Create or obtain a bearer token for Inistate API authentication. This is required for the server to access the Inistate API. (https://inistate.com///login?)
- **Install Node.js and npm** — Node.js and npm are needed to run the published package with npx. (https://nodejs.org//download)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","inistate-mcp"]
- required environment variables:
- `INISTATE_API_TOKEN`: Bearer token for Inistate API authentication. (example: `<your-api-token>`)
- optional environment variables:
- `INISTATE_API_BASE`: Override the Inistate API base URL. Defaults to the public Inistate API endpoint. (example: `<your-api-base-url>`)
- `INISTATE_MCP_NO_SETUP`: Set to force server mode and disable the interactive setup wizard when launching from a terminal. (example: `1`)
Note: README also mentions an HTTP transport for PM2/production use, but it does not provide a canonical MCP client HTTP endpoint URL or client config shape. The recommended and fully documented install path is stdio via npx.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.INISTATE_API_TOKENrequiredBearer token for Inistate API authenticationAn MCP Server for computer-use in Windows OS
