Install & configure
Prerequisites
- requiredCreate Kaiten API tokenIn Kaiten go to Profile > API tokens and create a new token. Note your subdomain.

Please install the `kaiten-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Create Kaiten API token** — In Kaiten go to Profile > API tokens and create a new token. Note your subdomain.
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","@theyahia/kaiten-mcp"]
- required environment variables:
- `KAITEN_DOMAIN`: Your Kaiten subdomain (e.g. mycompany) (example: `<your-domain>`)
- `KAITEN_TOKEN`: API token from Kaiten profile settings (example: `<your-api-key>`)
