KubeView is a read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that allows AI agents to inspect, diagnose, and debug Kubernetes clusters safely. It supports Kubernetes core, Helm, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD.
From the registry: Read-only Model Context Protocol MCP server enabling code-driven AI analysis of Kubernetes clusters.
Please install the `kubeview` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Node.js >= 18** — Node 18 or later required. (https://nodejs.org)
- **Kubernetes cluster access** — Valid kubeconfig pointing at a reachable cluster.
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","kubeview-mcp"]
Note: Read-only Kubernetes MCP server; optional helm/argo/argocd CLIs enable richer tool coverage.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.KUBECONFIGrequiredPath to kubeconfig fileReal-time Kubernetes network traffic visibility and API analysis for HTTP, gRPC, Redis, Kafka, DNS.
