An MCP server for the Lithuanian Register of Legal Acts (TAR) using the data.gov.lt open-data API. It searches legislation by title substring, returns act metadata, and fetches the full Lithuanian text with source URLs and citations.
From the registry: MCP server for Lithuanian legislation (TAR via data.gov.lt) with verifiable citations.
Please install the `lt-eli-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install Python** — Python is required to run the server. On Windows 11 with Smart App Control, use the signed python.org Python interpreter and run the module via `python -m ...`.
Optional prerequisites:
- Install uv (optional) — Optional helper to run the published package with `uvx` and no separate install step.
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `uvx`
- args: ["lt-eli-mcp"]
- optional environment variables:
- `LT_ELI_BASE_URL`: Base URL for the data.gov.lt API endpoint. (example: `<your-base-url>`)
- `LT_ELI_CACHE_DIR`: Directory for local cache files. (example: `<your-cache-directory>`)
- `LT_ELI_AUDIT_DIR`: Directory for audit log output. (example: `<your-audit-directory>`)
Note: Preferred portable setup is `uvx lt-eli-mcp`. No API key is required. On Windows 11 with Smart App Control, use the signed interpreter path instead: command `python` with args `['-m', 'lt_eli_mcp']` (or `py -3 -m lt_eli_mcp` if `python` is not on PATH).
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.LT_ELI_BASE_URLBase URL for the data.gov.lt API; defaults to https://get.data.gov.lt.LT_ELI_CACHE_DIRCache directory for stored data; defaults to ~/.matematic/cache/lt-eli.LT_ELI_AUDIT_DIRDirectory for audit logs; defaults to ~/.matematic/audit.MCP server for searching Airweave collections with natural language queries.
