MCP server for Claude Code that exposes tools to spawn specialized AI workers, list available workers, check configuration status, and check usage quota. It uses the Anthropic API key configured via the accompanying CervellaSwarm CLI or environment variable.

$ export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=<your-api-key>Please install the `lu-mcp-server` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install the MCP server package globally** — Install the CervellaSwarm MCP server so the `cervellaswarm-mcp` command is available on your system. Run: `npm install -g @cervellaswarm/mcp-server` (https://www.npmjs.com/package/@cervellaswarm/mcp-server?activeTab=readme#cervellaswarm-mcp-server-demo--17-ai-agents--quality-guardians-for-claude-codeonly-the-ai-coding-team-that-checks-its-own-work--17-ai-agents-with-quality-guardians-for-claude-codequick-start1-installbashnpm-install--g-cervellaswarmmcp-server2-configure-claude-codeadd-to-your-homeclaudesettingsjsonjsonmcpserverscervellaswarmcommand-cervellaswarm-mcpor-add-to-your-projects-mcpjsonjsonmcpserverscervellaswarmcommand-cervellaswarm-mcp3-set-api-keyinstall-the-cli-and-run-initbashnpm-install--g-cervellaswarmcervellaswarm-initor-set-environment-variable-directlybashexport-anthropic_api_keysk-ant-4-restart-claude-coderestart-claude-code-to-load-the-mcp-server-youll-have-access-to-these-tools-spawn_worker-execute-tasks-with-specialized-ai-workers-list_workers-see-available-workers-and-their-specialties-check_status-verify-configuration-and-api-key-check_usage-check-your-usage-quotaavailable-agents-17models-reginaguardianearchitect-use-opus-45-workers-use-sonnet-45the-architect-1---strategic-planner-opusagent-specialtyarchitect-plans-complex-tasks-creates-planmd-before-implementationguardiane-3---quality-gates-opusguardiana-roleguardiana-qualita-verifies-code-quality-95-standardguardiana-ricerca-verifies-research-accuracyguardiana-ops-verifies-deploy-safety--securityregina-1-opusagent-roleorchestrator-the-queen---coordinates-all-agentsworkers-12-sonnetworker-specialtybackend-python-fastapi-api-databasefrontend-react-css-tailwind-uiuxtester-testing-debug-qadocs-documentation-readme-guidesdevops-deploy-cicd-dockerdata-sql-analytics-database-designsecurity-security-audit-vulnerabilitiesresearcher-research-analysis-best-practicesmarketing-ux-strategy-positioning-copywritingingegnera-architecture-refactoring-tech-debtscienziata-market-research-competitor-analysisreviewer-code-review-best-practicesexample-usage-in-claude-codeuse-spawn_worker-to-create-a-rest-api-endpoint-for-user-authenticationclaude-code-will-call-the-spawn_worker-tool-with-worker-backend-automaticallydevelopment-for-contributorsbash-clone-and-installgit-clone-httpsgithubcomrafapra3008cervellaswarmcd-cervellaswarmpackagesmcp-servernpm-installwatch-modenpm-run-devtest-with-mcp-inspectornpm-run-inspectbuildnpm-run-buildlocal-development-configfor-local-development-use-path-based-config-in-homeclaudesettingsjsonjsonmcpserverscervellaswarmcommand-nodeargs-pathtocervellaswarmpackagesmcp-serverdistindexjsarchitecturemcp-server----tools----spawn_worker--anthropic-api-your-key----list_workers--static-list----check_status--config-check----check_usage--quota-info----shares-config-with-cli------uses-same-api-key-from-cervellaswarm-initphilosophysometimes-it-feels-like-magicwere-honest-ai-tools-arent-perfect-context-gets-lost-mistakes-happen-our-solution-built-in-quality-guardians---three-dedicated-agents-whose-job-is-to-review-and-verify-the-work-of-othersnot-promising-perfection-promising-honesty-and-continuous-improvementlinks--cli-cervellaswarm-on-npm--github-rafapra3008cervellaswarm17-agents-with-quality-guardians-your-ai-team-in-claude-code/)
- **Set an Anthropic API key** — The server uses the Anthropic API for worker execution. You can either run the CervellaSwarm CLI initialization flow or set the environment variable directly. Run: `export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=<your-api-key>`
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `cervellaswarm-mcp`
- args: []
- required environment variables:
- `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY`: Anthropic API key used by the server's AI workers and shared CLI configuration. (example: `<your-api-key>`)
Note: README shows a global install path and a local development path. Per the portable-install rule, the canonical config uses the globally installed `cervellaswarm-mcp` command. The README says the API key may also be configured via `cervellaswarm init`, but the canonical MCP config env is `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY`.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders.
