Mailbridge MCP connects an MCP-compatible AI client to email accounts over IMAP or iCloud so it can read, search, send, reply to, organize, and schedule emails, including handling attachments and calendar details. It supports multiple accounts and stores credentials in the OS credential store rather than in files.
From the registry: Connect your AI assistant to email — read, search, send, and organise via IMAP/SMTP.
Please install the `mailbridge` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Node.js and npm/npx** — Install Node.js so the MCP client can run the server via npx.
- **Connect an email account in the setup portal** — On first launch, Mailbridge opens a browser-based setup portal to connect your email account. Credentials are saved to your OS credential store.
Optional prerequisites:
- iCloud app-specific password — If using iCloud email, create an Apple app-specific password. Your normal Apple ID password will not work for Mailbridge. (https://account.apple.com)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["mailbridge-mcp"]
Note: The simplest portable install path is via npx. The README also shows a Cursor example using ["-y", "mailbridge-mcp@latest"], but the generic npm section uses `npx mailbridge-mcp`, which is the canonical stdio shape. No environment variables are documented; account credentials are collected interactively through the setup portal and stored in the OS credential store.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.MCP server for WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta) — messages, media, and templates via Graph API
