Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Get Instagram session cookies** — Open instagram.com in Chrome, log in, press F12 -> Application -> Cookies -> instagram.com. Copy sessionid, csrftoken, ds_user_id. (https://www.instagram.com)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):

- `INSTAGRAM_SESSION_ID`: Instagram sessionid cookie (example: `<your-session-id>`)

- `INSTAGRAM_DS_USER_ID`: Instagram ds_user_id cookie (numeric user id) (example: `<your-user-id>`)
- optional environment variables:
- `INSTAGRAM_RATE_LIMIT_MS`: Delay between paginated API requests in ms (example: `300`)
