Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Get Mappls/MapMyIndia credentials** — Register at apis.mappls.com for OAuth client credentials or an API key (https://apis.mappls.com)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):

- required environment variables:
- `MAPPLS_CLIENT_ID`: OAuth client ID (or use MAPPLS_API_KEY instead) (example: `<your-client-id>`)
- `MAPPLS_CLIENT_SECRET`: OAuth client secret (or use MAPPLS_API_KEY instead) (example: `<your-client-secret>`)
- optional environment variables:
- `MAPPLS_API_KEY`: API key (alternative to OAuth) (example: `<your-api-key>`)
Note: Either OAuth client credentials OR API key is required. OAuth recommended for production.
