An MCP server for Wise Personal API that exposes read-only access to profiles, balances, exchange rates, transfers, recipients, and account requirements. It can be run self-hosted via npm/npx or accessed through AIWerk's hosted bridge.

Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Create a Wise Personal API token** — Generate a Wise Personal API token from your Wise account settings. Required for the self-hosted stdio server. (https://wise.com/settings/api-tokens)
- **Install Node.js and npm** — Required to run the server via npx.

- `WISE_API_TIMEOUT_MS`: Per-request timeout in milliseconds. (example: `<your-timeout-ms>`)
- `WISE_API_ALLOW_UNSAFE_BASE_URL`: Dangerous override to bypass HTTPS and host allowlist checks for local testing against a mock server. (example: `<your-unsafe-base-url-override>`)
Note: README also documents a hosted HTTP endpoint option via AIWerk bridge, but it requires account-specific hosted provisioning and does not provide a canonical self-serve MCP server command shape. Preferred portable install path is the self-hosted npx stdio server.
