Prerequisites

Please install the `mcp-stripe` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Create a Stripe Restricted API Key** — Create a Restricted API Key (rk_*) in the Stripe Dashboard with desired tool permissions (https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):

Note: Stripe also hosts a remote MCP server at https://mcp.stripe.com with OAuth. This config is the local npx stdio path.
