MCP server for Yandex Wordstat that lets AI clients query search demand statistics such as query frequency, related queries, seasonality, and regional distribution. It uses Yandex Cloud Search API v2 and exposes normalized read-only tools for Wordstat data.

Install & configure
Prerequisites

Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install Node.js 20+** — Node.js 20 or newer is required to run the server via npx.
- **Create a Yandex Cloud API key** — Create a service account with the role search-api.webSearch.user and generate a Yandex Cloud API key with the yc.search-api.execute scope for Yandex Cloud Search API v2 access. (https://yandex.cloud/ru/docs/ai-studio/operations/get-api-key)

- `WORDSTAT_TIMEOUT_MS`: Request timeout in milliseconds. (example: `<timeout-ms>`)
- `WORDSTAT_MAX_RETRIES`: Number of retries for 429/5xx responses. (example: `<max-retries>`)
Note: Uses Yandex Cloud Search API v2 over stdio via the MCP server process. The older Wordstat OAuth API is no longer supported.
