$ uv --versionhttps://docs.astral.sh/uv/$ pip install mdr-medical-device-mcphttps://pypi.org/project/mdr_medical_device_mcp/Please install the `mdr-medical-device-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Optional prerequisites:
- Install uv — Install the uv tool so the MCP server can be launched via uvx, which is the simplest config path shown in the README. Run: `uv --version` (https://docs.astral.sh/uv/)
- Alternative: install package with pip — If you prefer not to use uvx, you can install the package globally or into an environment with pip, then run the mdr-medical-device-mcp command directly. Run: `pip install mdr-medical-device-mcp` (https://pypi.org/project/mdr_medical_device_mcp/)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `uvx`
- args: ["mdr-medical-device-mcp"]
Note: README states the server also works with a local pip install by running the `mdr-medical-device-mcp` command over stdio. No environment variables are required for the free tier; README says no API key is required.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.MCP server for Gearsystem Sega Master System / Game Gear / SG-1000 emulator
