The memdata-mcp server provides persistent memory for AI agents, allowing them to store and retrieve notes, decisions, and context across conversations. It supports both subscription-based and autonomous agent payment models.
From the registry: Persistent memory for AI agents. Store context, retrieve it semantically.
Please install the `memdata` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **MemData API key** — Get your API key at memdata.ai/dashboard/api-keys (or use X402 wallet key) (https://memdata.ai/dashboard/api-keys)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["memdata-mcp"]
- required environment variables:
- `MEMDATA_API_KEY`: API key for subscribers (option 1) (example: `<your-api-key>`)
- optional environment variables:
- `X402_WALLET_KEY`: Private key for pay-per-use via x402 (option 2) (example: `<your-private-key-hex>`)
- `MEMDATA_API_URL`: API URL (example: `https://memdata.ai`)
Note: Use MEMDATA_API_KEY OR X402_WALLET_KEY, not both.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.MEMDATA_API_KEYrequiredAPI key for subscribers (from memdata.ai)X402_WALLET_KEYrequiredPrivate key for pay-per-use (USDC on Base)AI orchestration with hive-mind swarms, neural networks, and 87 MCP tools for enterprise dev.
