Namemyapp

Please install the `namemyapp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).

Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install Node.js and npm/npx** — Required to run the local stdio server via npx. (https://nodejs.org/)

Optional prerequisites:
- Get a namemy.app API key — Optional for public mode, but required to unlock authenticated tools beyond the always-available buy_link tool. (https://namemy.app/app/api-keys)

Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","@namemyapp/mcp"]
- optional environment variables:
  - `NAMEMYAPP_API_KEY`: Bearer token for authenticated mode. Omit for public mode, which only exposes the buy_link tool. (example: `<your-namemyapp-api-key>`)
  - `NAMEMYAPP_API_URL`: Override base API URL for staging or self-hosted deployments. (example: `<your-api-url>`)
  - `NAMEMYAPP_AGENT_SOURCE`: Attribution tag stamped on API calls and buy URLs. Defaults to mcp if not set. (example: `<your-agent-source>`)

Note: README documents three connection modes: local stdio via this npm package, remote OAuth at https://mcp.namemy.app/mcp, and remote direct bearer at https://mcp.namemy.app/direct. Per the portability rule, the extracted canonical config uses the simplest local stdio npx path. Public mode works with no API key; authenticated mode requires NAMEMYAPP_API_KEY.
