This MCP server allows users to search NASA's image library and display images in an interactive UI.
From the registry: MCP server with UI for NASA images

Please install the `nasa-images` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Node.js 18+** — Node.js 18 or higher (https://nodejs.org/)
- **NASA API key** — Free NASA API key — sign up at api.nasa.gov (https://api.nasa.gov/)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","@kaitoy/nasa-images-mcp-server","--stdio"]
- required environment variables:
- `NASA_API_KEY`: NASA API key (DEMO_KEY works but heavily rate-limited) (example: `<your-nasa-api-key>`)
Note: Search NASA's image library. Supports both stdio and HTTP Streamable transports.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.NASA_API_KEYrequiredAPI key for accessing NASA's Images API.MCP server for searching Airweave collections with natural language queries.
