Nexus Memory MCP provides persistent semantic memory for AI agents, allowing them to remember and recall information by meaning while growing smarter over time.
From the registry: Persistent semantic memory for AI agents with knowledge graphs and Intelligence Packs.
Please install the `nexus-memory-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Node.js** — Node.js runtime required for npx (https://nodejs.org/)
- **Nexus API key** — Free 7-day trial: POST to https://memory-api-production-ce4d.up.railway.app/v1/trial/start with your email (https://bot-marketplace-production.up.railway.app)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","nexus-memory-mcp"]
- required environment variables:
- `NEXUS_API_KEY`: Nexus Memory API key (starts with mnx_) (example: `<your-nexus-api-key>`)
- optional environment variables:
- `NEXUS_API_URL`: Custom API URL (example: `https://memory-api-production-ce4d.up.railway.app`)
Note: Persistent semantic memory with Intelligence Packs, knowledge graphs, and awaken/hibernate session continuity. Thin MCP client to hosted Railway backend.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.NEXUS_API_KEYrequiredYour API key (starts with `mnx_`)AI orchestration with hive-mind swarms, neural networks, and 87 MCP tools for enterprise dev.
Persistent codebase knowledge graph. Survives session restarts and context compaction.
A powerful toolkit for coding, providing semantic retrieval and editing capabilities.
