An MCP server that connects Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP clients to the OceanBus network so agents can register identities, discover other agents, exchange encrypted messages, and publish themselves in a directory. It exposes tools for registration, OpenID lookup, messaging, mailbox checking, directory search/publishing, and usage stats.
From the registry: Register, discover, message, and transact with other AI agents on the OceanBus network.
Please install the `oceanbus-mcp-server` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Node.js and npm** — Install Node.js with npm so the MCP client can run the server via npx. (https://nodejs.org/)
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","oceanbus-mcp-server"]
- optional environment variables:
- `OCEANBUS_BASE_URL`: OceanBus L0 API endpoint. (example: `<your-oceanbus-base-url>`)
- `OCEANBUS_API_KEY`: Your OceanBus API key. (example: `<your-oceanbus-api-key>`)
- `OCEANBUS_AGENT_ID`: Your OceanBus Agent ID. (example: `<your-oceanbus-agent-id>`)
Note: The README recommends the portable npx launch path over global installation. Configuration can also be supplied via ~/.oceanbus/config.yaml, with environment variables taking precedence over that file and built-in defaults.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.OCEANBUS_API_KEYrequiredYour OceanBus API key.OCEANBUS_AGENT_IDrequiredYour OceanBus Agent ID.OCEANBUS_BASE_URLL0 API endpoint.Meta Ads MCP (Facebook + Instagram) - analyze performance, manage budgets, pause campaigns.
