An MCP server that gives AI agents user-equivalent access to an Odoo 17+ instance, limited to what the authenticated user can do in the browser. It exposes tools for discovery, record access, planning, and intent actions such as creating, updating, archiving, posting messages, and scheduling activities.
From the registry: Full Odoo access for AI agents via MCP: CRUD, website, translations, attachments, workflows.
Please install the `odoo-surface-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install Node.js 18+** — Node.js 18 or newer is required to run the MCP server via npx.
- **Have access to a running Odoo instance** — A reachable Odoo 17.0+ Community or Enterprise instance is required.
- **Create or obtain Odoo credentials** — You need an Odoo database name, username, and password or personal API key for the user account the MCP will authenticate as. The README recommends using a personal API key as ODOO_PASSWORD instead of storing the account password.
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `npx`
- args: ["-y","@suco/odoo-surface-mcp@latest"]
- required environment variables:
- `ODOO_URL`: Base URL of the Odoo instance. (example: `<your-odoo-url>`)
- `ODOO_DB`: Odoo database name to connect to. (example: `<your-database-name>`)
- `ODOO_USER`: Odoo username or login email for the authenticated user. (example: `<your-odoo-username>`)
- `ODOO_PASSWORD`: Odoo account password or personal API key for the authenticated user. The README recommends using a personal API key. (example: `<your-odoo-password-or-api-key>`)
Note: The server is run over stdio via npx. A .env file can be used instead of putting credentials in client config when running a single instance, but for multi-instance setups the README says to use per-entry env values. Debug mode is available by appending --debug to args.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.ODOO_URLrequiredURL of the Odoo instance to connect to.ODOO_DBrequiredOdoo database name.ODOO_USERrequiredOdoo username used for authentication.ODOO_PASSWORDrequiredOdoo password or API key used for authentication.MCP server for Omie — ERP, customers, products, orders, invoices, financials
