$ uvx --version$ python -m pip install pk-eli-mcpPlease install the `pk-eli-mcp` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Required prerequisites (do these first if not already done):
- **Install uvx or Python** — Install `uvx` for the simplest portable run path, or install Python and pip as an alternative. Run: `uvx --version`
Optional prerequisites:
- Windows 11 Smart App Control workaround — On Windows 11 with Smart App Control enabled, unsigned executables like `uvx.exe`, `pip.exe`, and the pip-generated launcher may be blocked. Use the signed Python interpreter to run the module instead. Run: `python -m pip install pk-eli-mcp`
Canonical MCP server config (stdio transport):
- command: `uvx`
- args: ["pk-eli-mcp"]
- optional environment variables:
- `PK_ELI_CACHE_DIR`: Directory for corpus files and HTTP cache. (example: `<your-cache-dir>`)
- `PK_ELI_AUDIT_DIR`: Directory for the JSONL audit log, one line per tool call. (example: `<your-audit-dir>`)
Note: Preferred install path is `uvx pk-eli-mcp`. Alternative stdio launch for Windows Smart App Control environments is `python -m pk_eli_mcp` after `python -m pip install pk-eli-mcp`.
