Pondlog provides a unified data layer for place-based nature information by combining public APIs for observations, phenology, water, fungi, and gardening with local astronomy and tide/cloud computations. It exposes this data through a CLI and multiple MCP servers, including per-source servers and an aggregate server.
From the registry: Mushroom Observer MCP server. Mycology observations, fungal taxonomy, and region discovery.
This server lives in a monorepo. The README covers the whole collection, so we can't extract a single canonical install. This README is for the Pondlog monorepo, which contains multiple MCP servers including @pondlog/mcp-mushroomobserver. It does not provide a dedicated standalone install section for the Mushroom Observer server beyond the monorepo-wide quick start example and one-command invocation.
