Role
Build and deploy core analytical components for Splunk Observability Cloud focused on streaming anomaly detection, predictive intelligence, and automated root-cause analysis at petabyte scale. Apply generative and agentic AI to enable AI features and collaborate across engineering and product teams to evaluate AI system trustworthiness and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement enterprise-grade, scalable ML systems and full-stack real-time analytics.
- Apply Generative AI and Agentic AI techniques to enable AI features in the product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define frameworks for evaluating AI trustworthiness and resilience.
- Deliver production-ready solutions for RAG and agentic products, and integrate them into observability workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field with 4+ years of software engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
- Experience designing and building scalable cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with API design and frameworks (OpenAPI, GraphQL, gRPC, REST).
- Prior experience delivering RAG and agentic products into production.
- Expert proficiency with vibe coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex requirements.
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications in AWS.
- Experience monitoring and analyzing metrics, traces, spans, and logs.
- Background in observability, generative AI, or model robustness.
Compensation
- Posted starting salary range for U.S./Canada locations: $165,000.00 to $241,400.00. Additional location-specific ranges are provided in the original posting.
