Job Description
Role
Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an Agentic AI Developer to design, build, and operate autonomous AI agents and agent workflows. The role focuses on using LLMs, tool/function calling, memory and state management, and both single-agent and multi-agent orchestration to enable autonomous actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define agent goals and design planning, reasoning, and task decomposition flows.
- Design and implement agent workflows using LLMs with tool/function calling, memory management, and state management.
- Build and orchestrate single-agent and multi-agent solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or equivalents.
- Integrate models and enterprise data sources using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and connect to APIs, databases, and business applications.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and semantic search against enterprise knowledge repositories.
- Develop secure integrations and enforce governance, human-in-the-loop controls, and Responsible AI guardrails.
- Implement AgentOps and observability capabilities including monitoring, logging, tracing, evaluation, and feedback loops.
- Deploy and manage agentic applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) using containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
Requirements / Qualifications
- 4–15 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of agentic AI fundamentals: goal definition, planning, reasoning, task decomposition, and autonomous action loops.
- Hands-on experience with agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen or equivalent).
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or equivalent approaches for integrating tools and enterprise data.
- Experience building and optimizing RAG pipelines, vector DB usage, and semantic search.
- Experience developing secure API/database integrations and connecting agents to business applications and external tools.
- Experience implementing observability/AgentOps (monitoring, logging, tracing, evaluation, feedback).
- Experience deploying and operating agentic apps on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) with containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI, governance, and security guardrails.
