Role
Ironmark is hiring an AI Adoption Lead to build an AI adoption program from scratch and act as a player–coach across the organization. You will lead AI culture and training while identifying, documenting, and prioritizing AI opportunities for engineering and product teams. The role is approximately 50% culture/training and 50% product/requirements management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver organization-wide AI training programs with a goal of moving 78%+ of employees through meaningful upskilling within 12 months.
- Build AI onboarding for new hires and create internal AI certifications and advancement pathways.
- Develop department-specific use cases and best practices; establish AI-first workflows (e.g., meeting recording, knowledge bases, AI-assisted execution).
- Identify adoption patterns, champions, and resistance points; navigate resistance with empathy.
- Conduct AI audits across departments to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities; triage existing tools vs. custom engineering.
- Document use cases, workflows, and requirements for engineering handoff and maintain/prioritize a backlog of AI initiatives.
- Partner with engineering and product leadership to measure ROI through productivity gains, cost savings, and cost avoidance.
- Track and report adoption metrics, skill progression, and productivity gains; provide quarterly reporting to executives and the board.
Strategic Focus (First 90 Days)
- Complete an organization-wide AI audit.
- Launch pilot training programs company-wide and with high-impact teams.
- Establish baseline adoption and productivity metrics.
- Document top AI efficiency opportunities with business cases and become a trusted AI advisor to department leaders.
Requirements
Required
- 2+ years driving AI adoption and enablement at an organizational level.
- Proven experience implementing AI inside 200–500+ person organizations.
- Active use of AI apps for research, writing, vibe coding and thought partnership.
- Strong product mindset: requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, prioritization.
- Experience designing and delivering training that drives behavior change.
- Technical fluency (familiar with possibilities of AI; coding not required).
- Systems thinker with a bias toward documentation and scale; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable navigating resistance with empathy and clarity.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ChatGPT Team, Gemini, Claude, N8N, Microsoft 365, HubSpot and other AI tools.
- Background in marketing services, creative, operations, or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated results in AI upskilling, productivity gains, digital transformation, and change initiatives.
Success Metrics (First 12 Months)
- 78%+ employee AI adoption.
- Measurable productivity gains across key teams.
- 20+ documented AI use cases with impact projections.
- 5–10 AI initiatives implemented or handed to engineering.
