Role
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain an AI-driven web application, taking an existing proof of concept into production using Claude Code and related AI/LLM technologies. Own end-to-end architecture, performance, security, and operational stability while collaborating with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the build: design, develop, deploy, and iterate end-to-end.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality.
- Architect scalable, secure application infrastructure built to support growth.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clean, effective solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, and raise team technical standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the development lifecycle.
- Optimize and enhance application performance and scalability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain documentation and ensure adherence to coding and application security best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience building with AI/LLM APIs and frameworks and shipping production work with them.
- Strong command of Python and JavaScript; comfortable across the stack.
- Solid experience with modern web application development (front-end and back-end).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Git.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and knowing when to use each.
- Experience working in agile environments.

- Experience using AI coding tools beyond autocomplete to rethink development workflows.
- Security-first mindset and experience incorporating security early in the lifecycle.
- Prior experience mentoring developers and leading technical reviews.
- DevOps mindset: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and related practices.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience.
