Role
Kogan.com is hiring an AI Automation & Architecture Lead to serve as the company’s internal AI evangelist and architect. This role reports to the CEO and CTO and focuses on building, prototyping, and deploying highly autonomous multi-agent systems and AI-driven workflows that optimise operations across supply chain, marketing, customer service and other functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Kogan.com’s AI evangelist, driving adoption and innovation across the organisation.
- Work directly with the CEO and CTO on high-impact, executive-level projects.
- Rapidly prototype and deploy production-ready software using AI-assisted “vibe coding.”
- Architect and deploy autonomous agents and multi-agent swarms (examples referenced: OpenClaw, OpenHands, LangGraph) to automate complex workflows.
- Design Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows, approval gates, and security sandboxes to manage high-stakes production tasks.
- Integrate AI agents securely with e-commerce platforms, ERPs, CRMs and internal databases.
- Monitor and optimise LLM API usage and costs to prevent resource drain.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer science, systems architecture, and API integrations.
- Proven experience with modern AI automation tools, multi-agent frameworks, and workflow builders (examples referenced: n8n, Make.com).
- Deep understanding of AI security measures, containerisation (Docker), permission allowlists, and protections against prompt injection and rogue agent behaviour.
- Practical experience deploying autonomous agents securely within enterprise infrastructure and connecting them to ERPs/CRMs/internal data.
- Commercial awareness of LLM API costs and strategies for token/cost optimisation.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence at the executive level.
