Build rapid AI-driven internal tools and automations to improve operational efficiency by prototyping solutions with AI (ChatGPT, Claude), no-code/low-code platforms, and basic scripting, then hand off production-ready requirements to the development team. Serve as a bridge between operations and developers to automate workflows and reduce manual work.
Job Description
Role
AI Automation & Internal Tools Builder (“Vibe Coder”) responsible for rapidly prototyping AI-driven internal tools and automations that solve operational workflow problems, then documenting and handing off solutions for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with internal departments to understand workflow challenges and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Rapidly prototype tools using AI (ChatGPT, Claude), no-code/low-code platforms, and basic scripting (Python, JavaScript).
- Create initial “vibe code” versions of applications and document requirements and logic for handoff to internal developers.
- Continuously improve internal automation, dashboards, and efficiency; iterate quickly on prototypes.
- Work closely with non-technical operations teams and the internal development team to ensure solutions are actionable and producible.
Examples of Projects
- Automating quoting and RFQ workflows
- Building internal dashboards and tracking tools
- Creating AI assistants for operations teams
- Streamlining data entry and reporting processes
Requirements
- 1–5 years experience in IT, software, or automation-related roles
- Strong familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude)
- Basic coding ability in Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience working directly with non-technical teams; strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate
Preferred / Bonus
- Experience with automation and integration tools (Zapier, Make, Retool)
- Experience with APIs and integrations
- Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments
