Role
The AI Business Analyst partners with business stakeholders and the Enterprise AI team to trace issues, investigate root causes, and provide data-driven insights. This role ensures requirements are clear and actionable, grooms and prioritizes a high-volume backlog, and supports QA/UAT and AI-driven product improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Backlog & Requirements Management
- Partner with Product and Business Relationship Managers to manage incoming requests
- Refine, prioritize, and groom backlog items to align with business value
- Translate ambiguous needs into structured requirements with acceptance criteria
- Ensure work is prepared and ready for development

QA & User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Coordinate and support UAT with business stakeholders
- Validate that delivered solutions meet requirements and expected outcomes
- Identify gaps, defects, and misalignments and work with developers to resolve them
- Ensure business sign-off before production release

Issue Investigation & Data Analysis
- Investigate and trace user-reported issues to determine root cause
- Review logs, dashboards, and reports to validate and diagnose problems
- Execute basic SQL queries for data extraction and validation
- Use existing tools and insights platforms to analyze system behavior and performance

AI & Product Support
- Collaborate with developers on AI-driven solutions, including GPT-based tools
- Ensure data inputs are structured and aligned to use cases
- Provide feedback on AI outputs and recommend improvements to responses, workflows, and usability
- Suggest simple UI/UX enhancements to improve adoption and outcomes

Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as liaison between business units and the Enterprise AI team
- Clarify needs, set expectations, and align priorities with stakeholders
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and testing results effectively
Qualifications & Skills
Core Experience
- Experience as a Business Analyst or in a functional, stakeholder-facing role
- Strong experience managing requirements and high-volume backlogs
- Hands-on experience with QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction and validation
- Experience working with dashboards, reports, or structured data outputs
- Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills
AI & Technical Curiosity
- Interest in AI-driven solutions and how they apply to business workflows
- Exposure to AI tools, platforms, or initiatives (conceptual or hands-on)
- Comfortable experimenting with AI tools and evaluating how input/prompt/UI changes impact outcomes
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly collaborative, adaptable, and able to work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and clarify requirements
Nice to Have
- Experience in Agile or product team environments
- Exposure to Azure or similar cloud platforms

- Pay: $60 - $90 per hour
