Role
Snap Inc. is hiring an AI Community Program Manager on the Generative ML Platform team to grow global creator communities focused on AI and AR creation tools. The role centers on community growth, evangelism, education, event presence, ambassador programs, and cross-functional collaboration to drive adoption of AI-driven creator workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new creator communities focused on AI, AR, and generative tools.
- Develop and execute marketing and organizational strategies to grow creator communities and adoption of Snap’s AI/AR tools.
- Build, maintain, and own the roadmap for community growth and evangelism initiatives, including budget and resource management.
- Recruit, establish, and manage global ambassadors to evangelize tools in physical and digital communities.
- Plan, organize, attend, and speak at meetups and conferences representing Snap.
- Develop and distribute educational curriculum and demos that showcase AI-driven workflows (e.g., text-to-image, text-to-video, 3D asset generation, multimodal).
- Maintain a public-facing social presence to engage and evangelize creators.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and champion creators’ needs related to emerging AI technologies.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Expertise with AI creative tools such as Midjourney, Gemini, SORA, Stable Diffusion, or similar generative models.
- Strong understanding of community management, marketing principles, and organizational aspects of community growth.
- Proven ability to plan and execute community events (virtual and in-person).
- Ability to use AI tools including Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Figma AI, and Runway.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Interactive Media, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of program, project, and/or community management experience.
- Public social media presence demonstrating community engagement and evangelism.
- Experience with AI creative tools (examples listed in description).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Vibe coding or light-weight technical knowledge of AI-driven development (examples: Claude, Cursor, Lovable AI, Gemini, Figma AI).
- Experience with 3D engine software like Unity and/or 3D modeling and animation software like Maya.
- Experience implementing programs, rapid testing, and scaling initiatives.
- Track record of impacting program or product growth in AI/AR spaces and collaborating across stakeholder levels.
- Passion for educating creators and involvement in online creative/development communities.
Compensation & Location
- Salary zones (U.S.) provided: Zone A $118,000–$176,000; Zone B $112,000–$167,000; Zone C $100,000–$150,000.
- This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
- Snap practices a “default together” approach: expected to work in an office 4+ days per week.
