Role
DIRO is hiring an AI Developer / Vibe Coder to craft clean, creative, user-focused code and to experiment with AI tools to enhance product usability and innovation. The role involves building web and app features in collaboration with designers and other developers, testing and refining implementations, and staying current with AI and coding trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, creative, and user-focused code for web and app features.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement features and improve user flow.
- Experiment with AI tools and integrations to enhance usability and product capabilities.
- Test, refine, and optimize code for performance and user experience.
- Stay current with AI breakthroughs and bring new ideas to product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or a standout portfolio.
- Basic skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Python.
- Curiosity about AI tools such as Cursor or ChatGPT integrations.
- Strong sense for design, flow, and user experience.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence preferred.
- Projects demonstrating creative coding or AI experiments; public repos or GitHub links encouraged.
- ~1 year AI experience and ~2 years total work experience preferred.
