Role
The AI Experience Architect at LabNext70 is a hands-on, maker-focused position responsible for designing, building, and delivering next-generation AI-native educational products. The role sits at the intersection of AI and instructional design and requires translating complex academic and professional concepts into scalable, accessible learning experiences.
Key Details
- Fixed-term full-time appointment for 2 years (HEO8).
- Salary range: $116,342 to $135,019 per annum (HEO8) + 17% super. Salary packaging options available.
- Armidale-based role with flexible or hybrid work arrangements; relocation assistance available.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build production-quality educational products using digital tooling and generative AI.
- Apply advanced prompt and context engineering, generative prototyping, and vibe coding methodologies to create and ship assets.
- Translate complex disciplinary content into engaging, accessible learning experiences using pedagogical judgement.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate emerging AI tools and EdTech platforms in ethically sound and institutionally aligned ways.
- Champion AI literacy and digital capability building across institutional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a maker: designing, building, and shipping production-quality educational products using digital tools and generative AI.
- Deep instructional design / pedagogical expertise and independent pedagogical judgement.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, context engineering, generative prototyping, and AI-assisted development workflows (vibe coding).
- Strategic capability to evaluate and safely integrate EdTech and AI tools for diverse academic and commercial audiences.
- Ability to lead digital adoption and promote AI literacy within an institution.
