AI & New Technologies Consultant on Siemens Advanta North America. Join small interdisciplinary teams to help industrial clients move AI, Physical AI, robotics, automation, analytics, and digital workflows from strategy into operational impact. The role combines client-facing consulting, technical fluency, and hands-on prototyping to produce implementation-ready outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure ambiguous business, operational, and technology challenges into clear workplans, hypotheses, analyses, decisions, and execution paths.
- Identify and prioritize use cases involving Physical AI, Industrial AI, robotics, process automation, analytics, platforms, and digital workflows tied to measurable business value.
- Translate business needs into use case definitions, technical requirements, MVP/pilot scopes, business cases, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
- Assess process maturity, data readiness, system constraints, IT/OT integration needs, cybersecurity considerations, and adoption barriers.
- Support industrial data platform, automation, robotics, enterprise architecture, and IT/OT integration concepts to improve operational visibility and scalability.
- Build analyses, light prototypes, workflow mockups, implementation materials, and executive-ready deliverables using approved analytical, AI, low-code/no-code, and productivity tools.
- Facilitate interviews, workshops, demos, and executive readouts; align stakeholders on priorities, risks, tradeoffs, sequencing, and next steps.
- Coordinate with client teams, Siemens technical SMEs, and delivery partners to move recommendations into implementation.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, computer science, analytics, finance, operations, or related field.
- 2-3+ years of experience in management consulting, AI- or analytics-enabled transformation, industrial technology, Physical/Industrial AI, platform strategy, IT/OT environments, or relevant start-up experience.
- Experience translating ambiguous business/technology needs into prioritized use cases, technical requirements, MVP definitions, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
- Working knowledge of AI and industrial technology concepts, including Physical AI, Industrial AI, generative AI, machine learning, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, robotics, automation, analytics, industrial data platforms, enterprise architecture, digital workflows, IT/OT integration, and cybersecurity considerations.
- Ability to connect AI opportunities to production environments, service operations, supply chains, maintenance, quality, and field execution.
- Hands-on experience with analytical, AI, low-code/no-code, or comparable tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, approved generative AI platforms, or “vibe coding” tools.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills and experience collaborating across business, technology, data, operations, engineering, IT/OT, and implementation teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and international); hybrid delivery expected.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience with clients in CPG, Aerospace & Defense, Life Sciences, manufacturing, industrial technology, software, utilities, or similar complex environments.
- Experience shaping AI-enabled solutions at the intersection of physical operations, automation, robotics, industrial data, and business transformation.
- Self-starter with seller-doer skills to identify client needs, support proposals or statements of work, and convert advisory work into delivery-ready projects.
- Familiarity with Siemens industrial software, automation, digital enterprise, and the Xcelerator ecosystem.
- Experience developing or scaling AI-enabled workflows, automation concepts, digital tools, industrial data platforms, and robotics-adjacent solutions under enterprise data-security and responsible-AI requirements.
Compensation & Location
- Base salary stated: $120,000 annually; annual incentive target: 10% of base salary.
- Role is focused on candidates based in or relocating to Atlanta, Houston, or New York. Hybrid delivery expected and travel up to 50% may be required.
