Role
You will be the lead engineer and technical owner for a mobile app and its supporting platform, responsible for end-to-end delivery, production releases, and shaping engineering practices. Work closely with the CEO to translate product vision into scalable technical solutions across iOS and Android while using AI-powered development tools and LLM-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the technical direction and delivery of the mobile app and supporting backend platform.
- Lead design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of production-ready iOS and Android applications.
- Use AI-powered development tools, LLMs, AI agents, MCP, and vibe-coding workflows to accelerate feature delivery while maintaining quality.
- Balance front-end and back-end development responsibilities (~50/50).
- Drive feature delivery, workflow refinement, bug fixing, and continuous improvement of user experience and scalability.
- Operate autonomously while collaborating closely with the CEO and other contributors.
- Establish technical foundations, engineering standards, and practices for future scale.
Requirements
- Minimum experience cited: 2 years in AI-powered development / AI agents / LLMs / vibe coding / MCP.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in prompt engineering for AI-driven feature development (mentions platforms such as Replit, Cursor, Bolt, Loveable, Tempolabs).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile application deployment (Android / iOS).
- Strong product mindset with focus on user value and business outcomes.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup with ambiguity and fast pace; high autonomy and ownership.
