This remote-friendly role focuses on rapid prototyping, classroom validation, and cross-functional execution to improve teacher adoption and student outcomes.

Job Description

Role

Imagine Learning is hiring a mid-level AI Product Manager to design, build, and scale AI-powered learning experiences for its courseware product. The role is focused on delivering responsible, classroom-tested solutions that improve teacher adoption, student impact, engagement, and revenue performance. This is a full-time, US-remote position reporting to the SVP Product Management, AI Initiatives.

Compensation & Location

  • Base pay anticipated between $110,862 and $160,000 per year.
  • Eligible for incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance.
  • Remote (U.S.-based) with flexible/hybrid arrangements available at certain office locations.
  • Travel up to ~20% required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead user-centered discovery through interviews, classroom research, analytics, and stakeholder input to translate educator needs into prioritized product backlogs.
  • Deliver iterative v1 solutions into real classrooms quickly and measure meaningful outcomes; prioritize learning and impact over polish.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Curriculum, Sales, and Marketing to align on outcomes, manage dependencies, and support go-to-market readiness.
  • Operate as an AI-native product manager, using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Lovable, Replit, and similar platforms to prototype concepts, generate PRDs, analyze data, and accelerate discovery.
  • Leverage technologies such as LLMs, NLP, and computer vision to design AI-powered teacher and student experiences; refine prompts, evaluate model behavior, and scope AI capabilities.
  • Define evaluation frameworks and success metrics for AI features; test for hallucinations, bias, reliability, safety, and instructional quality at scale.
  • Run experiments, perform competitive research (especially in AI for education), and hold teams accountable to measurable improvements in adoption and impact.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Product Management, Education, Business, or related field and at least 5 years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years on SaaS or AI/ML products — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in edtech is highly preferred.
  • Proven AI adoption experience and routine use of AI to draft, analyze, build, and iterate work.
  • Demonstrated track record shipping new processes, tools, or products.
  • Strong understanding of software development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience with online project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet) and with Agile, Scrum, and product discovery techniques.
  • Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt design, RAG pipelines, human-in-the-loop systems, evaluation metrics, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience with vibe coding tools such as Figma Make, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Replit, v0, Lovable, Bolt, etc.
  • Data-driven, analytical thinker with strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to engage with school partners and educators.
