AI Solutions Architect

Role

SoftHouse Advisory is hiring an AI Solutions Architect to design and build AI-powered applications for enterprise clients, contribute to an internal agentic platform, and deliver vibe-coding masterclasses to client technical teams. This is a production-focused role that emphasizes shipping resilient, secure, and production-ready systems rather than pure research.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered solutions for enterprise clients using modern AI tools and frameworks.
• Architect systems that are resilient, secure, and production-ready.
• Select and work across AI models and platforms (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, Gemini) to match tools to problems.
• Contribute to SoftHouse’s internal agentic harness and platform.
• Deliver vibe-coding masterclasses and technical training to client teams.
• Collaborate with consultants, trainers, and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals: databases, data types, storage, architecture, and security fundamentals.
• Comfort working across AI models and frameworks (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini).
• Ability to move quickly: prototype, test, ship, and iterate.
• T-shaped skillset: deep expertise in one area and capability across multiple areas.
• Personable and collaborative; experience working directly with clients and teammates.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent architectures, MCP, and tool-use patterns.
• Background in solution architecture or consulting.
• Experience delivering technical training or workshops.
• Familiarity with vibe-coding workflows and tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot).

Compensation & Location

• Pay: $85,661.92 - $173,525.47 per year (currency not specified in posting).
• Work location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District).
