Role
The AI Solutions Engineering Architect will define and maintain AI-enabled SDLC practices and lead the architecture of AI-driven, cloud-native software solutions. The role partners with engineering, data, product, and business teams to design scalable, secure, and performant solutions, and provides technical leadership for integrating AI/ML models, inference pipelines, and cognitive services.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain AI-enabled SDLC practices within an Agile delivery model, including AI-assisted development, vibe coding workflows, code quality controls, and automated testing.
- Lead design and architecture of AI-driven, cloud-native solutions and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and SDLC governance.
- Develop architectural roadmaps focused on GenAI/LLM platforms, vector databases, RAG, event-driven systems, and intelligent automation.
- Establish architecture standards, reusable patterns, guardrails, and design frameworks across digital solutions engineering teams.
- Design APIs, microservices, integration strategies, and cloud-first architectures using Azure.
- Guide teams on DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, observability, CI/CD pipelines, and platform engineering foundations.
- Provide technical leadership for AI/ML model integration and inference pipelines and evaluate emerging technologies for modernization.
- Present architectural recommendations, risks, and solution options to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers, technical leads, and solution designers to promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience across architecture, software engineering, cloud development, and SDLC leadership.
- Proven ability to leverage AI throughout the SDLC from concept to implementation.
- Proficiency in vibe coding implementations and tools such as Claude Code, Cursor.AI, and GitHub Copilot.
- Proficiency with Microsoft .NET and React developer frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and LLM platforms.
- Deep experience with cloud platforms including Azure and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Work Model

Compensation
- Stated base salary range for CO, IL, OH, and MA: $170,000 - $250,000.
