Role
As an AI Specialist you’ll scope, design, and deliver applied AI solutions for clients, including LLM-powered workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, agentic automation, and model evaluation integrated into client business systems. You’ll work directly with clients from discovery through delivery and coordinate with a prompt-development pod to bring solutions to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and deliver production-ready applied AI solutions: LLM workflows, RAG systems, embeddings/vector-store integrations, and agentic automation.
- Work directly with clients during discovery, solution design, demos, and delivery; translate business problems into production-grade AI solutions.
- Define patterns and specifications for prompt-development teams and review/guide their production builds.
- Establish evaluation criteria; measure solution quality, accuracy, and ROI.
- Advise clients on AI readiness, data considerations, and responsible/safe deployment.
- Contribute to reusable AI accelerators and go-to-market offerings.
Requirements
- 4+ years in AI/ML, data science, or applied AI engineering with hands-on work using LLMs in production or near-production settings.
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with modern AI tooling.
- Experience with RAG patterns, embeddings/vector stores, and at least one major LLM provider or framework.
- Client-facing experience: lead working sessions, explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, and manage scope.
- Fluent English and consistent overlap with US business hours.
- Pragmatic, outcome-focused approach prioritizing client value.
Preferred Skills
- Consulting or professional-services background.
- Exposure to ERP/CRM platforms (NetSuite, Salesforce) or finance/operations data.
- Experience with evaluation, observability, or guardrail frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
